Downy Mildew is a globally significant disease problem affecting yield and quality for many crops, including cucumbers. At this time, growers' only available defense against this damaging disease is fungicides. Seminis is introducing new Downy Mildew resistant cucumber lines, developed through conventional breeding. These lines have the potential for a distinct advantage in harvestable yield while reducing both the number and cost of fungicidal sprays growers currently use to control the disease.

- Flexible spray program

SV3462CS
SV3462CS is an early gynoecious slicer that yields quality fruit in about 56 days. SV3462CS has a very vigorous vine. The fruit are about 9 inches long and hold their uniform, dark green color well. This hybrid also offers new intermediate resistance to Downy Mildew.
SV4719CS
SV4719CS is an early gynoecious slicer that yields quality fruit in about 56 days. It has a vigorous vine. This hybrid also offers new intermediate resistance to Downy Mildew. SV4719CS fruits are about 8 inches long and hold their uniform, dark green color well.
